School Hair, Don't Care Spray (great for keeping those pesky school annoyances away!)

I know schools out for the summer but save this recipe for when they are back in the classroom sharing "all the things!"

  • 4 oz glass spray bottle
  • 10 drops Tea Tree
  • 12 drops Lavender
  • 8 drops Geranium
  • Add a couple squirts of witch hazel + then top with water. Give it a good shake + spray on hair twice a day - before and after school!
DIY Dry Shampoo
For light hair:
For darker hair:
Add powders to a food processor and pulse to incorporate. Add essential oils and gently pulse again. You may have to play with the amount of turmeric, paprika or cocoa powder that you add in order to get a shade that is perfect for you. Option to leave these out all together as well! Try adding these 1 teaspoon or so at a time and test it to your root color, adding more if you need. If your mixture becomes too dark, add a little more arrowroot powder to lighten it.

Store your mixture in a glass jar. When ready to use, apply the powder to the roots of your hair using a makeup brush. And enjoy the calming yet uplifting aroma of the lavender and rosemary as you go throughout your day!

  1. I'm going to make that hair growth spray. My hair is starting to show considerable loss, I suppose due to my age. I also passed on the "School" hair spray to Cheyenna! We were just talking about it today and I couldn't find the recipe!!!
I love your website and look forward to more blog posts!!!
